Scam warning: "Skyler" on Match.com is really Curtis Coats

On March 14, 2020, Curtis Coats was reported as using the name "Skyler" on Match.com.  He uses multiple dating platforms to find women to scam.  His real age is 54 years old with a birthday in May.  He frequently uses his young son as leverage to play on his victim's emotions and vulnerabilities.

We have received several phone calls about Curtis Coats using fake names to meet women online.

Each story ends in a tale of lies and fraud, and in many cases, loss of money.

If you have encountered this man and would like to contribute your story to helping warn and save others, please email curtis.coats.fraud@gmail.com

  1. He likes to tell people he's soon to be 50 to continue to celebrate that big birthday over and over again when really he's 55+. DO NOT BE FOOLED - Christian Pauline, Curtis Coats, Sky Steele, whoever you are, please tell us your side of this story then.

  2. Curtis Coates was born June 1965. He just turned 55 years old. I know this because part of his scam was faking being his own assistant, and buying himself an elaborate VIP Braves experience birthday present, through me last year. None of which he paid for. Which also included an Acuna Jr jersey, which he loves to wear- so if you ever see it in the jersey now you know where he got it.
